Wonderful World Kdrama Episode 1 : Disney presents yet another thriller Korean drama series with fourteen episodes almost 1hr per episode. The story revolves around Eun Soo-Hyun, a well-established writer who with her husband a reporter lived happily with their kid. One day her son dies due to an accident which leads them to lose the balance of their life.
The episode opens with Eun Soo-Hyun standing in the road, she is terrified and has been crying. Opposite we see Kwon Sun-Yool driving a car against her, he looks very angry at her. Then cut to the past days, Eun Soo-Hyun shows her daily life, and how happy she was. After a long time and painful days, she gave birth to a baby, and she and her husband got very happy.

They lived a happy life. She was the first to get the Rosaline Literary Award. Cut to her husband Kang Suho, he joined HMC broadcasting as a reporter but the viewers of his news are harassing him in comments. He quit his job at ABS channel when he had no freedom to report against the mayor. Everyone on the channel opposed him for going against the mayor, so he quit the job.
Eun Soo-Hyun’s kid got a fever and her husband called her to ask about the medicine. Eun Soo-Hyun was going to board on flight as part of the work. But after hearing her son is not well she comes to her home. She meets her son and checks on him, he is okay now. She went to the kitchen and talked to her husband. He is taking some medicines since he left the ABS channel. She consoles him by saying everything will be okay. When she came out her son was not there and the door was open.
They both looked for their son everywhere near the locality but couldn’t find him. He ran outside somewhere. She finds her son’s shoe at near the premises. Her husband goto supermarkets and other shops near but was unable to find their son. She saw some police cars near and people gathered there. As she approached them, she saw her son getting taken to an ambulance injured all over the body.

She cries and goes with him, and the doctors take him to the surgery room. Eun Soo-Hyun’s mother and sister were preparing food for her birthday, they suddenly got a call from Eun Soo-Hyun telling them about the condition of her kid.
They get shocked and go to the hospital. The doctor tells them that the kid is in critical condition and also adds to expect the worst case. Eun Soo-Hyun’s mother tells her to leave the hope and tells them they can’t save him at least let him die without this much pain. Eun Soo-Hyun goes inside the surgery room and sits with her kid. Cuts his nails and watches him. Suddenly she sees her kid’s pulse stopped. The kid dies in front of her, her husband comes running to her.
They do a funeral for their son. Everyone gathered with them. We see some flashback of Eun Soo-Hyun with her son talking. The news about Eun Soo-Hyun’s son’s death is all over the media. Police caught the guy who caused the accident. Everyone gathered at the court for the hearing. The defendant says he was in fear which is why he kept the boy in the road.
The court decides to give the guy 2years and six months in prison due to lack of evidence. Eun Soo-Hyun’s husband shouts at the court against the judge for this decision. Police arrest her husband. She goto to the guy who killed her son and tells him to apologize to her son. But he denies it and behaves very rudely and goes. The episode ends with Eun Soo-Hyun driving her car and hitting the guy out in anger.
Overall the episode started very normal but later it started to deviate from that normal plot and ended in a thrilling way. The events that happened in this episode were unexpected, especially at the ending. It was a good pilot episode for this drama.
