Queen of Tears Episode 13 Recap and Explained: Netflix presents “Queen of Tears” a sixteen episodic Korean romantic drama from the creator of the popular drama “Crash Landing on You”. The story revolves around Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo they are married to each other for some time. However, since Hong Hae In is from a rich family the relationship between Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo was not going well.
Baek Hyun Woo married Hong Hae In without knowing she was from a rich family. The doctor tells Hong Hae In that she won’t live more than 3 months as she has Cloud Cytoma disease. Baek Hyun Woo who got to know about her illness starts loving Hong Hae In again.
Episode 13 started with the Queen’s family inside the house after the chairman’s funeral. As they reached the secret ground floor they see a big hall there capable of keeping money there. Apparently, the chairman’s second wife moved that money and there are signs of it. Yoon Eun Seong’s mother showed Yoon Eun Seong the slush fund of 900 million money from the chairman.

Now they can buy the majority shares of Queens with this money. Baek Hyun Woo got a call from Germany telling that they can do surgery on Hong Hae In and save her. But there is an after effect for this surgery which is she will lose all her old memories as it’s a brain surgery and she lacks WBC. Baek Hyun Woo explained it to their parents, they also warned him not to tell Hong Hae In about the side effects. Baek Hyun Woo told Hong Hae In about the call, she became happy that she could live again. Hong Hae In took Baek Hyun Woo on trips to make some memories.
As Hong Hae In’s family got their ownership to their house back they packed to go back home from Baek Hyun Woo’s house. As they were leaving, Hong Hae In said she was not coming home now as she would be staying with Baek Hyun Woo in his new flat for some time and she had surgery too. Also her brother not going home, he needs some time to go back.
So Hong Hae In’s father and mother went home. The matchmaker lady came to Baek Hyun Woo’s house and found out Hong Hae In is getting surgery. She told Yoon Eun Seong and his mother about the surgery. Yoon Eun Seong met Baek Hyun Woo and told him not to tell them about the memory side effects and look after her. Hong Hae In told Baek Hyun Woo about her first crush and gave some hints about him. Apparently, it was Baek Hyun Woo, she told him that she followed him on the way to his house.

Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In moved to Baek Hyun Woo’s new flat. They made some moments there before going for surgery. Hong Hae In’s father met Baek Hyun Woo’s father and told him they were giving him the shop building for free as a gratitude towards them. Hong Hae In and her assistant did some shopping as Hong Hae In insisted she wanted to shop like a normal person.
They purchased a lot and became tired. Hong Hae In told her assistant about her future plans of reshaping the mall to a family friendly space. As they went to the Christmas decoration area the artificial snow fell and Baek Hyun Woo came there.
It was Baek Hyun Woo who asked for the snow to be there. Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo had some moments there. At the end of the episode, Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo went to Germany for the surgery. At the same time, Yoon Eun Seong also went to Germany following them.

Before the surgery, Baek Hyun Woo told Hong Hae In about the memory loss side effects. Hong Hae In went to tears and said she wouldn’t allow this surgery, but Baek Hyun Woo insisted as they all needed her back.
Overall the episode was just a normal one. Nothing new or interesting things have shown except the good news about the surgery. As the series comes to an end let’s see what will happen to Hong Hae In, will she live or not?
