The Big Bang Theory Spin-off Young Sheldon which recently completed its 5th Season on CBS is scheduled to be back on our TV screens very soon. The network had renewed the series for another season very early because of its strong ratings and the series is going to start its 6th season on September 30th, 2022.
Young Sheldon is about a specific Nobel Prize-winning The Big Bang Theory character, Sheldon Cooper, specifically his childhood and tells us the amazing childhood this bright yet strange person had along with his family as he tried to navigate through life and how he met his friends, Leonard, Howard, and Raj.
The show has actors from The Big Bang Theory on some episodes. Iain Armitage plays young Sheldon Cooper however, the show is narrated by Jim Parsons, the original Sheldon Cooper.
Young Sheldon has easily been some of the big favorites when it airs. Its first episode aired on 25th September 2017 and was met with hugely positive reviews with the image of Sheldon kept intact by Iain Armitage who has held the torch passed on by Jim Parsons.
The show also stars Lance Barber who plays his father George Cooper, Zoe Perry who plays his mother Mary Cooper, Annie Potts who plays his grandmother, Raegan Revord who plays his twin sister Missy Copper and Montana Jordan who plays his big brother George Cooper.
