Stranger Things Season 4 concluded a couple of weeks ago and for people who waited for the VOL2 for a month and instead got 2 episodes with a runtime more than an average movie. However, the season finale scratched our itch for good content, now we’re sitting with our hands folded for the Duffer Brothers to come up with the 5th and Final Season faster.

However, until the 5th Season is out, you might want to check out these shows and movies which are somewhat similar to Stranger Things in one way or another.

The Hardy Boys

The Hardy Boys is about 2 brothers who alongside their father and friends try to solve a mystery which kind of sounds familiar with Stranger Things. It does not have the Demogorgens and Demodogs or the Mind Flayer but it does have some good mystery. You can check it out on Hulu and it already has 2 Seasons.

Dark

This German Mind-Bending series has time travel in it and it is shown in a way that will spook you for sure. Dark is amazing and in all the right places, you will try to predict but fall right on your face. If you’re looking for a Sci-Fi Mystery series and are not afraid to get your mind bent, then it’s for you. The good news is Dark is already finished so you can check if out on Netflix.

Summer Of ’84

This is a movie about a group of friends from Oregon in which over the last decade, 13 teenage boys have disappeared. The group of friends suspects that their neighbor who is a police officer is setting up something sinister and trying to stop that. It’s a horror movie but its really good and it holds a good rating too. Also, it was applauded for its casting so maybe try giving it a watch.

Nancy Drew

The CW’s show “Nancy Drew” is a supernatural mystery drama and has a lot of common elements it is based on the famous book Nancy Drew by Edward Stratemeyer. The show has already 3 Seasons with more than 10 Episodes with a runtime of around 40 minutes. The show has garnered positive ratings in its term which makes it a good contender.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
