YOU Season 4 Part 1 Ending Explained: YOU Season 4 Part 1 has been released recently on Netflix and the wait has been worth it. With the addition of new characters that are not just shrewd but also dangerous, the Season turns Joe into the stalked rather than the stalker which is a change of pace as Joe tries to make sense of what is happening and finding who is the real killer among those shrewd bunch that calls themselves each other’s friends.

Joe Dead Or Alive?

Joe has run away from his old life after burning all of his traces and faking his death in search of Marianne but after a heartbreak from Marianne, he is offered another opportunity at life by someone and he grabs it.

Now, Jonathan Moore, working as a Literature Professor at a University keeping to himself and laying low, finds himself entangled in another murder that he did not commit and he’s not being blackmailed by someone who is the real killer and Joe, instead of being the stalker is being stalked now.

After trying different ways to find the killer and trying to keep his maybe next victims like Kate safe, he ends up killing Vik, the personal bodyguard of Phoebe. With three murders in, and two of rich figures, the nation starts labeling the killer as “Eat The Rich Killer” and to get out of this whole shebang, the whole group goes to the countryside to relax and Joe is invited there.

The whole time there is an absolute worst time when people who are not rich are being treated as scum and the rich are behaving like they are gods, Joe finds himself in another bind when he finds Kate with a knife with the body of Gemma.

Who Is The Real Killer?

Now, to help Kate and hide the body he is targeted by Roald who thinks that he killed Gemma and is actually the Eat The Rich Killer, Joe is hunted until he’s saved by the real killer which turns out to be Rhys, the novelist whose memoir had turned people inside out throughout the country and is the top contender for the Mayor Of London.

Rhys has both of his legs on each side as he comes from a background of poverty and now he’s a very successful writer of a memoir to the point that he’s going to announce his candidacy for the Mayor of London, along with torturing Joe over Evanesce, Rhys is having the time of his life.

Rhys captures Joe and Roald asking him to kill Roald and that everything else will be handled by Rhys but he doesn’t kill Roald making Rhys more suspicious about Joe until he puts the whole castle on fire and leaves, Joe and Roald somehow get out of there and reach London where Rhys is in Oxford where he had his education announcing his candidacy for the Mayor of London.

Now, what remains is a battle of wits and a whole lot of bloodbaths between Rhys and Joe because both of them are now aware of whom to target. Part 2 releases on March 9, 2023.
