Wonderful World Episode 8 Recap and Explained: Disney presents a Korean revenge thriller drama “Wonderful World” in fourteen episodes. Eun Soo Hyun was a well-known writer and a professor, her son died in a car accident. The killer was not sentenced because of his connections and bribery.
Eun Soo Hyun killed the guy who killed her son and went to jail for 7 years. Eun Soo Hyun came back home after her release and got to know many things that she never imagined. Eun Soo Hyun’s life becomes more complicated when the son of the guy whom Eun Soo Hyun killed starts revenge on Eun Soo Hyun.
Episode 8 started with Eun Soo Hyun meeting with Kwon Sun Yool. Eun Soo Hyun says she needs to meet the guy. Even though Eun Soo Hyun knows Kwon Sun Yool is the son of the guy who got killed by Eun Soo Hyun, she doesn’t show him. At the same time, Kwon Sun Yool also knows that Eun Soo Hyun knows his real identity. They have a talk over the pain and the need for revenge about the ones they have lost. Eun Soo Hyun says she lost her son and it was very painful so nothing can make her more painful than that.
Eun Soo Hyun and Kang Soo Ho come up with their mother and they have a gathering. They go for eating and other things. Kang Soo Ho’s mother asks him why he is still with Eun Soo Hyun. Eun Soo Hyun tells Kang Soo Ho she will treat him well from now on. Kwon Sun Yool is at his garage exercising over his limits. His friend comes and warns him if he does this he will die.

Kwon Sun Yool is in a rage for his revenge to take away every happiness from Eun Soo Hyun. A flashback was shown where Kwon Sun Yool took the photograph of Kang Soo Ho with the girl romancing, the same photo was sent to Eun Soo Hyun and her mother.
Eun Soo Hyun meets the professor who gave Kwon Sun Yool’s address which was not the real guy who escaped the fire accident. The professor said sorry and said she had known Kwon Sun Yool for some time. She gave the original guy’s address. Eun Soo Hyun met the guy who escaped the fire accident. He was angry about his loss, Eun Soo Hyun says she also knows the pain as she lost her son, but she overcame all and went on with her work. Eun Soo Hyun tells him to live his life well and adds calls her if he needs any help.
Kwon Sun Yool went to the art exhibition and picked up the parcel for Kim Joon. Apparently, the lady who handles this is the neighbour who was in an affair with Kang Soo Ho. Kwon Sun Yool copies the files from the pendrive inside the parcel and places them there again. Kim Joon asks why he trying to make issues in Eun Soo Hyun’s family. He asks if it was for the revenge. Kang Soo Ho met the detective and got some information about Kim Joon’s slush funds. Kang Soo Ho tells Eun Soo Hyun to avoid meeting Kwon Sun Yool again.

Eun Soo Hyun follows Kim Joon’s car from the hospital. Kim Joon went to Eun Soo Hyun’s neighbour lady’s house. Apparently, Kim Joon has an affair with that lady. When Eun Soo Hyun and Kang Soo Ho come out of their house to go out in the car a stranger comes there and asks for the dash cam footage as his car had crashed near so it was to check if there is any footage on it. Kang Soo Ho gives the USB to Eun Soo Hyun to check and tell that guy.
Eun Soo Hyun checked the footage and didn’t see anything that day and she informed him. Eun Soo Hyun goes outside later and sees the neighbour lady’s kid in a trauma on the road. Eun Soo Hyun helped the kids and went to the lady’s home with them. Eun Soo Hyun notices a photo they took abroad which she told she was outside before.
The photo had a date which was similar to the date in the photo Eun Soo Hyun got about her husband’s affair. Eun Soo Hyun asks why she lied to the lady. The lady says it was not her but some other girl if got to know Eun Soo Hyun would collapse that’s why she took the blame.

At the end of the episode Eun Soo Hyun realises the guy who asked for the dashcam was a worker in Kwon Sun Yool’s garage. Eun Soo Hyun went to Yuri’s workplace and played the dash cam footage on his laptop. Eun Soo Hyun saw Yuri and Kang Soo Ho arguing in the video which tells that the girl who had an affair with Kang Soo Ho and the girl in the photo were all Yuri, her own sister. Eun Soo Hyun collapses knowing the truth. At the same time, Kang Soo Ho went to Kwon Sun Yool’a’s garage.
Overall this episode has too many twists and turns. Many truths were revealed and we got to see the real characters in them.
