One of the most confusing questions from the Netflix original African Thriller series, Fatal Seduction, is: Who kills Brenda? Was it Jacob or someone else? Here, we will try to answer a few questions related to this.
According to the CCTV footage, we see that Jacob goes to Brenda’s house for the last time before her death. Within a few minutes, he comes out wearing her belt, which was used as the murder weapon to kill Brenda.
Now, the question arises as to who the killer of Brenda is. Voyu accuses Jacob of being the killer, but Jacob denies killing Brenda. Regarding the belt, let me take you back to the past. On the day when Nandi and Jacob were physically engaged, we see Jacob’s belt drop on the ground while they were wrestling. There is a high chance that Jacob went there to retrieve that belt and he never killed her.
If we consider my theory, I would say there is a high chance that Leonard and the investigating officer are involved again. It is likely that Leonard kills Brenda, and then the investigator helps him to cover up the evidence, such as the CCTV footage. If you recall, we also see the investigating officer give Voyu the CCTV footage on a DVD, not in digital form. There is a high chance that those videos and footage were edited or altered.
