Who Is The King Of Spades: Alice In Borderland Season 2 has officially been released on Netflix, With the return of games that seem complex but go on to become a whole lot more complex allowing the players to strategize and then put them into motion, the games are not high stakes because the players are not competing for the face cards and not just the numbers cards like in Season 1.

They will be met by the bosses of each card as they compete in the games. However, at the start of Season 2, Alice and the team go to play for the King Of Spades card but are not presented with any rules or anything after some time they find a person dressed in a black cloak shooting at them who turns out to be the King of Spades.

However, his identity remains a mystery until the later Episodes. It might be confusing the audience as to what did the King of Spades want and who was he?

Who Was The King Of Spades?

King Of Spades is just like the rest of the players who came to the game country from the real world and after he was given a choice whether to stay there permanently, he stayed and became the King Of Spades.

What Does He Want?

He’s a trained mercenary who keeps targeting and killing people. He does not stop and kill each and everyone that comes in front of him. However, when his face is revealed in Episode 7, he turns out to be someone that Alice has never come across in the whole game before.

He was someone who had taken this rank from someone else as we see from his flashback. After Alice and the team’s plan gets successful in killing the King of Spades, he is confronted by Aguni who ends up shooting him to death.

The King Of Spades, right before his death gave his gun to Aguni in hopes that he would kill him and said that it was the only way he knew how to save them and that is why he was killing everyone.

It seems like The King Of Spades knew about what was really happening and maybe killing the people was a way to save them. However, the suspense behind that is still not uncovered and we’d have to wait for the upcoming season to understand the motive behind killing all those people.

My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
