Episode 1 ended shockingly, but everything is still in the building phase. As we continue with the episode-wise recap of the show, here’s the Episode 2 Recap and Ending Explanation.

Hal found himself in a room with his hands tied up. Kate was still posing when everyone discovered that Hal was missing. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Rasoul Shahin from Tehran, wanted to talk with Hal. It seemed like Hal was pissed off by the hypodermic injection, for which Rasoul apologized. The kidnapping man wanted to say that Iran wasn’t behind the blast. They talked about a retired US General Bradford Symes, who was going to be assassinated by the man who had actually kidnapped Hal.

The kidnapper wanted to say that Bradford had participated in the murder of Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani. The retaliation was wholly proportional, and there were three years of planning, but the kidnapper was unable to do his job because everybody thought Iran was behind that aircraft carrier blast. Hayford and Park confirmed that Shahin was not in Tehran and the revenge of Soleimani was a life issue.

Kate found Meg Roylin at a funeral function. It seemed like Meg Roylin had a lot of secret information. Everybody thought Iran was behind that blast. The Prime Minister became angry and wanted to launch an airstrike in Tehran, and this news spread like wildfire.

Kate thinks that Hal Wyler is powerful for his extraordinary works, and half of the State knows about Hal Wyler. Hal Wyler bravely flew from Kabul to Mazar-e-Sharif, in the middle of the night, to convince Taliban leaders to hold back the seizure of Kabul for one more day. So, if Hal says that Iran is not behind this blast, it must be true, but it should be verified. Kate wants to talk with the President because Iran wasn’t behind the attack. Kate wants Hal to return to his country, but Hal doesn’t want this. Hal said that the Vice President wants to resign, and Kate should replace her, which is why they can’t divorce.

This statement of Hal leaves Kate speechless. As of now, this series is a talk show, and it’s boring, but let’s move on to the next episode.”
