Queen of Tears Episode 8: Netflix presents a Korean romantic comedy-drama “Queen of Tears” in sixteen episodes. Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo got married after loving each other. Hong Hae In is heir to Queen Empire and Baek Hyun Woo is a normal middle-class guy working in Queen’s company.
After their marriage, they lived in separate rooms like strangers. Baek Hyun Woo wanted a divorce but when Hong Hae In got cancer and said she would live for 3 months only Baek Hyun Woo started loving her again. But later Hong Hae In found out about the divorce paper and they separated again.
Episode 8 started with Baek Hyun Woo talking about him hiding the divorce papers as Hong Hae In forgot the past for a moment. Hong Hae In couldn’t recall what happened for some days she forgot about she went to Germany and Baek Hyun Woo had a divorce paper with him at that time. Suddenly Hong Hae In starts getting her old memories back and walks away from Baek Hyun Woo knowing about the divorce.
A flashback scene is shown where Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo go to the aquarium before marriage, and Hong Hae In buys the whole day for them only and plays the song Baek Hyun Woo likes to surprise him. Baek Hyun Woo proposed to Hong Hae In to marry him and she accepted it.

Cut to the current situation, Hong Hae In appointed a big lawyer named Vincenzo who is part of Italian mafia and also a lawyer, he kills people whenever he wants if the client needs it. Baek Hyun Woo gets terrified seeing Vincenzo. Vincenzo’s lawyer shows Baek Hyun Woo and his friend the signed divorce paper of Hong Hae In and explains the procedures.
Baek Hyun Woo whatever it is he is okay with it. As Hong Hae In went out she started remembering a memory of her with Baek Hyun Woo. A flashback was shown were Baek Hyun Woo took Hong Hae In on a metro train and showed her a beautiful sunset.
Hong Hae In went to places Baek Hyun Woo going daily from the information her spies on him gave. The places were jogs, restaurants he eats and all. Hong Hae In went to eat at the same place Baek Hyun Woo goes daily. All of a sudden Baek Hyun Woo comes to the shop with his friend to eat, he didn’t see Hong Hae In but she was sitting behind the walls near him.
As Baek Hyun Woo and his friend chat about the divorce Hong Hae In listens to what they say. Baek Hyun Woo says he is not happy about the divorce, he wants to stay on Hong Hae In’s side and he loves her. Hong Hae In gets emotional and cries as she doesn’t have not many days to live.

Yoon Eun Seong starts thinking about Hong Hae In. Apparently, Yoon Eun Seong has a past with Hong Hae In from the orphanage, were he saved Hong Hae In from a dog biting her. Yoon Eun Seong was wounded helping her, and he got a chain of her from the soil. Yoon Eun Seong still has that chain in memory of her. Yoon Eun Seong comes out looking for Hong Hae In. Hong Hae In came in a taxi very late. Yoon Eun Seong asked why she came alone without a driver, she said she had to be somewhere.
Yoon Eun Seong asked Hong Hae In why Baek Hyun Woo is still at the company. Hong Hae In said Baek Hyun Woo is useful to the company and not fire him. Hong Hae In tells Yoon Eun Seong that she is declining Mr. Herman’s shop at her mall as Mr. Herman accepted the offer for Yoon Eun Seong not for Hong Hae In, so she can’t accept it.
Queen’s chairman accepts Yoon Eun Seong’s new project offer and signs it even though Baek Hyun Woo warned him it’s a trap to acquire his shares and take over the major shares. But the chairman signs it and fires Baek Hyun Woo. Baek Hyun Woo was taken out of his privileges and access from the company. Queen’s chairman gives power of attorney to his new wife without knowing her hidden agenda. Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In’s aunt found out Yoon Eun Seong is the son of the second wife of the Queen’s chairman. And she was lying from the start.

Baek Hyun Woo informs the chairman but he falls in front of the lady as she gives him drugs to go in a coma. The family comes to see the chairman but as he is in a coma the lady has ownership of the company. And she accepts that her son is Yoon Eun Seong.
At the end of the episode, the whole Queen’s family is thrown out of the company. Hong Soo Cheol’s wife also left the country by leaving Hong Soo Cheol a letter that it was all a lie. Finally whole family comes to Baek Hyun Woo’s house at the end as normal persons.
This episode was the best of all the episodes that came till now. It has also the highest viewership rating in Korea today. Also the cameo of Song JooKi as Vincenzo made a feast to fans.
