Modern Love Chennai is an Indian adaptation of the famous American anthology series “Modern Love.” “Modern Love Chennai” is a six-episode anthology series that defines love stories around the city of Chennai. “Dolls of Lalagunda” is the first episode of “Modern Love Chennai.”
Before discussing this episode, let’s have an overview of the story. To come out from a bad past, Shoba falls in love with a panipuri seller, but their love story doesn’t go well.
- Shoba
In the first episode, the character Shoba is played by Sri Gouri Priya. In this episode, she plays the role of an angry young lady who was ditched by her girlfriend. Later, she also falls in love with a panipuri boy, but it also goes unsuccessful. So, she arranges a marriage and lives a happy life. She also acts in a movie called “Mail” (2021).
- Nathuram
In this episode, the character “Nathuram” is played by Vasudevan Murali. Nathu is a boy who sells panipuri and works in Shoba’s dad’s biscuit factory. He is a gentle young boy who starts loving Shoba. However, he is attacked by Shoba’s ex-boyfriend because of this. Later, we see Nathu leaving the place, and the girl who works in his shop becomes pregnant and undergoes an abortion. That’s all about Nathuram.
