“Halo” Season 2 Episode 2 Recap: Paramount+ Presents an eight-episodic sci-fi American series ” Halo” which is streaming now with Two episodes only,rest will come weekly. “Halo” is based on a popular FPS game on exactly the same name. After getting a huge viewership from Season 1, the makers are back with the Season. In this article, we are gonna discuss the recap of Episode 2, before it let’s have a quick knowledge about the story.
The story is about A man named John-117 who became a Spartan & now he is fighting with the alien covenant to save humanity.

Finally, we get to see Doctor Halsey who is enjoying her life in a different planet. She met with a girl who wanted to learn a game from Hasley. In between this Halsey started to ask some questions to her.
She asked what happened when that girl left this place, the girl said she found a room with a hallway inside it with lots of doors. She started to bleed and started to talk about the man but then fell down on the table. So, the girl must be a clone created by Doctor Hasley but what she was talking about? Who is this man? Let’s know later.
“Halo” Season 2 Episode 2
Hasley with the same girl playing the same chase game. Whenever she started to asking that girl about the man, that girl started to bleed. Every time it failed. Coming back to the planet Reach. we see Riz & Kai talking with each other about the pain that Riz got from the attacks. Kai went to meet with Chief and Chief is talking seriously of what Ackerson said. John accepted that he have seen Makee on Sanctuary. They both know Makee is dead so what is this.?
One of the clerks changed the status of all the groups. So, he claimed “Standby” on the side of the Cobalt group. This creates doubt to Chief as he wants to know the meaning of this. That clerk doesn’t know he just following orders of Ackerson. Chief went to met with Ackerson asking where is COBALT team?
Ackerson doesn’t want to give him any reply because ONI taking care of everything & he is the boss of ONI. He doesn’t trust the muster chief at all but also knows this he isn’t gonna win this war without him. Ackerson talked with Kai alone because he wanted to know more about the mental situation of John. He directly ask her if she saw any mental change in John’s behavior. Kai said she noticed nothing. She still admires that John is the best Spartan after all.

On the other side, John went to met with Talia for what she said in front of media which is a lie. John joined them in their family dinner,John understood that the Girl is still in trauma. All of these people along with John celebrate for the memorial for the people who died in Sanctuary. Later Talia said, she noticed & hear something during the war in Sanctuary .
The girl didn’t speak anything about this to Ackerson and got the model of survival. John said whatever she saw in Sanctuary is natural & she gonna face this again & again. Kwan in the Rubble planet trying o hide from spies who are trying to capture her. She became more powerful & furious. A chasing scene between her & those two spies is soo intense. In the end, those guys failed to capture her. One of that man said Ruby Ann bought Soren’s crew so he not gonna come back.
Riz taking care by her gym trainer. She is badly hurt but got trained well. She thinks Spartans never die but she can feel this pain now. Later, they went for training led by the Master Chief. Tranning of Riz is too hard that she has to climb over the mountain & others are going to chase her down. Now,we are just seeing training with a big scale. Why? Are they really lost stories? Anyways, Riz fall down from the mountain & was unable to fulfill her training. Chief is not in mood be soft against her because their enemies are getting stronger day by day.
Laera went to the team who are with Soren. They said they left Soren because their Cargo ship was in a decaying orbit & they got hit, lost gyro so that abandoned ship got detached from them. Whatever their Captain says it is false & that captain also admits that Soren must be died. Laera doesn’t want to accept this. Little Kessler also thinks that his father is still alive & he is coming back to protect them because Kwan always got attacked by some spies. But Kwan doesn’t want to believe that Soren is alive she admits he must die.
We got a surprise as Ackerson is talking with Doctor Halsey. So, he always knows that she doesn’t die. So, they are planning or do something or what? Halsey asked him if he found anything about Cortana. Ackerson hasn’t any news about it. But he introduced a girl named Julia,to Halsey. Julia is the same girl that we are seen from starting. What exactly Julia is? & What does Ackerson want to do?
We found that the place is where Halsey is nothing but a Virtual room. every time Ackerson sends Julia to take care of Halsey. but whenever Halsey ask her anything about a man that girl or that clone died. These things are happening in repeat.
On the other side, John gets the information of the Cobalt team’s mission. The AI unable to find anything, so John ask for the flight plans of all teams. He found an Unknown mission towards to the ” Epsilon Eridane System”.He thinks they never left the planet. But it looks like an unknown ship entered into the Visegrad Relay as the Comms array on Sanctuary went down just before the Covenant attacked. Visegrad went down a few days ago & they sent Cobalt. When Kai ask John what is their exact mission he said ” Covenants are on Reach’.

Meanwhile, Ackerson contacted Cortana too & from her he is taking all the information about Dr.Halsey. The CORTANA does everything based on the simulation. The big question is, is that the same Cortana that we have seen earlier? Or it’s just a clone? It is running a simulation with a 97% of happening. It looks like Covenants got information about the Forerunner Artifact in the Reach that’s why they attacked on the planet. Ackerson might send the Cobalt teams to execute those aliens.
Later we saw the ” sword base” of the Reach. Where a team of Spartans was killed by a Sangheili leader. The Sangheili alien took the captain of the Team & right then he got stopped by an order of a female. Guess what!? Yes, Makee is alive & she is back. She orders Sangheili to open the Door. When they opened the Door they found a Big Forerunner Artifact inside it. When Makee touches it , it glows & bringing the episode to an end.
It’s true that The Covenant are must be something Big plan that is not cleared yet. But watching Makee alive is the biggest fear as we know she is capable of huge power. what’s their plan, we probably know in the next episode.
