Gyeongseong Creature Episode 8: “Gyeongseong Creature” is a South Korean action-adventure creature-based drama show, written by Kang Eun-kyung and directed by Chung Dong-yoon and Roh Young-sub. The plot of this show is set in 1945, focusing on the darkest era of Gyeongseong.

Episode 8, titled “Awakening,” begins where we see a woman covered in blood walking on the road. On the other side, Lady Maeda tells Akiko to go to Director Ichiro at the hospital, and we find that the lady’s child is special to both Ishikawa and her. She visits the creature and calls her Teacher Seishin.

After that, the scene shifts to the home of Jun-taek, where we find that he is suffering from trauma. We see that his father discusses the arrest of Tae-sang’s employees and collaborators. Sergeant Haneda is found injured but alive in the hospital’s basement, and he manages to get to Maeda’s car, but Tae-sang died in this sequence.

We see that Chae-ok is waiting for her father to tell her they should leave. He reveals what happened to her mother and recalls the necklace he saw on the creature. Tae-sang wakes up in Maeda’s house, having been nursed back to health. He finds that he has been in the hospital for 4 days, and the scene shifts.

We find that Ishikawa learns of serial murders, and we see that remains of bodies are found with no brains. He demands to speak with Lieutenant Kato, who speaks about several laws during their celebrations, but Ishikawa refuses. Tae-sang threatens to close all stores in Bonjeong as this has affected the party.

At the end of episode 8, we see that Chae-ok realizes she’s being followed and embraces Tae-sang. She questions Maeda about her actions, but she refuses to tell anything. Then Lieutenant Kato explains that the Najin know about the human worlds, and Chae-ok is insistent on catching up to Akiko to avoid meeting, and the episode ends.
