Gyeongseong Creature Episode 5: Gyeongseong Creature is a South Korean web series set in 1945 which is written by Kang Eun-Kyung and directed by Chung Dong-yoon and Roh Young-sub whereas in the last episode, we see that Jun-Taek tries to escape from the prison where Tae-sang helps him to escape where we find that the creature is growing and more.
In this article, I am going to recap episode 5 of this show, where I will cover all the details about episode 5 of this show along with the summary and plot of this show in detail for better understanding.
Last Episode: Gyeongseong Creature Episode 4 Explained
Episode 5 of Gyeongseong Creature, titled, “Desperation”, begins where we see that there is meeting happening between Jun-taek and other Korean fighters about independence where Jun-taek informs them about upcoming events where they can attack Japanese officials using dynamite.
Where we also see that Lee In-hyeok who is one of his comrades is being captured for insurrection and taken to Ongseong Hospital. Soldiers surround Jun-taek and a monster attacks Tae-sang, who shoots it and they run away but Joong-won follows. Where Chae-ok and Tae-sang manage to enter a room and shut the metal door before the monster can enter.
After that, Jun-taek is brought to Ichiro where he recognizes him as the son of the owner of Bugang Company where Tae-sang is separated from Chae-ok, and Lieutenant Kato notes the creature while Tae-sang and Chae-ok are questioned where Tae-sang, along with Jun-taek’s comrades, makes a deal with a Japanese officer to empty the prison of guards and leave Tae-sang with a key to the prison lock.
After that, we see that Tae-sang watches as Chae-ok is sent back to her prison cell, where she privately drops her knife into her hands and Jun-taek’s father begs Ichiro to excuse his son, even after giving him a suitcase full of cash. When we see that Nawol and Gu approach Jun-taek’s father with a plan to save his son in a cell Chae-ok notices words in blood on the wall.

At the end of this episode, we see that Tae-sang knocks out the two soldiers guarding Chae-ok and lets her out and Chae-ok gives him a hug in the middle of his protests where Chae-ok, and In-hyeok’s names on a sheet in front of him where Chae-ok demands to know her mother’s details and episode ends.
