“Gyeongseong Creature” Episode 9 Recap and Explained: “Gyeongseong Creature” is a South Korean action thriller horror creature-based drama show created by Chung Dong-yoon and Roh Young-sub. The story of the show is set in the era of 1945. In the last episode (Episode 8), we see that Chee-ok finds out that she is being followed by the people of Tae-sang.

Episode 9, titled “Atrocity,” begins with the story of Korean prisoners being tested on by the Japanese. Kato, who is also a Korean prisoner, shares his story about the discovery of the Najin and its potential to help humans evolve. Seishin must ensure that Maeda heeds the information.
After that, we see that Akiko, who is also a prisoner, is surrounded by policemen. Ishikawa sends her and her baby back to Onseong prison, but Akiko attacks Ishikawa. Sadly, they are able to capture him. On the other side, Mrs. Nawol berates him for standing by while people are hurt, and Tae-sang tells them to take action for this attack.
Later, we see that Tae-sang discusses the plans with Chae-ok and they promise to remember each other if they die. They leave the pawnshop where Chae-ok steals a gun from Tae-sang’s vault, and he shoots Ichiro. He plans to use bombs to wipe Onseong Hospital.
The scene shifts to the hospital, where Seishin breaks her prison cell and moves from there. Tae-sang plans to use bombs to destroy Onseong Hospital off the map while the police are searching for her. Lieutenant Kato becomes frustrated, and two officers in his cell wake up in a room where another woman is being asked.
In the end of Episode 9, we see that Tae-sang learns that the police have stopped looking for Chae-ok. Still, Maeda visits him and tells him that Chae-ok is dead. Ga-pyeong finds his mother in Japan, whereas Mrs. Nawol realizes he has known the truth. At the hospital, we find that Chae-ok is conveyed in front of Kato, and this episode ends.
