Evil Dead might be one of the most mentioned franchises when you talk about Horror and Bruce Campbell aka Ash would be the most talked about character right before or after the Warrens.
Both of these Horror Franchises have something in the works but the current matter right now is Evil Dead’s new film after its revival in 2013 with the film “Evil Dead”, we’re seeing another in the works which is supposed to be released in the theatres in 2023.
Earlier, it was supposed to be a crossover but the plans for sequels of Evil Dead (2013) & Army Of Darkness (1992) were scrapped. However, the film continues to be the fifth installment of the series, written and directed by Lee Cronin, and executively produced by Sam Raimi along with Bruce Campbell.
The film will tell the story of two sisters, Beth & Ellie. Ellie’s a mother of 3 and lives in an L.An Apartment. When Beth visits Ellie, they discover a mysterious book that raises flesh-possessing demons which pushes the sisters into a battle for survival.
Alyssa Sutherland plays Ellie and Lily Sullivan plays Beth in the movie along with other casts namely Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies, Nell Fisher, and others.
The first image of the film has been released and well, it looks right balanced on the scale of evil and horrifying. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on April 23, 2023, and the digital rights have been bagged by HBO Max.
