The Suicide Squad Trailer Released At DC Fandom: The Suicide Squad was one of the highlights of the DC Fandome event that was a virtual event for all the upcoming DC movies and shows. The Suicide Squad is an upcoming Superhero movie which is based on the characters of the antiheroes from the DC Comics. The movie is a standalone sequel of the 2017 Suicide Squad and features many new characters. The movie is also written and directed by James Gunn ( Guardians of the Galaxy fame ). It is set in the DCEU.
Plot
The movie revolves around Amanda Waller who has reassembled the Suicide Squad and some new members in it and they are sent off to a mission to rescue a South American country.
Cast
The film has an ensemble cast and some of the members are Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Peter Capaldi, and Viola Davis in the lead.

In the DC Fandom, the makers released a sneak peek into the movie where the cast members and the director – James Gunn talk to the audience about the movie and how this has been their biggest and best work in terms of making and hard work involved. The sneak peek is available on YouTube.
Release Date
The movie is scheduled to release on theatres in 2021. No official release date has been announced but we’ll get the date soon enough.
