FX Hulu’s new show titled “The Bear” just premiered a couple of days ago and it has been getting some really good reviews. The show is about a young chef from a dining world who comes back to his hometown in Chicago to run a family sandwich shop after a death in the family.

From the first episode itself, you feel like there’s pure chaos here, a lot of things happening at the same time and the lead actor played by Jeremy Allen White, famous for playing Lip in the SHOWTIME series Shameless is trying to get it under control and failing to do so. The show is also a love letter to Chicago’s self-owned restaurants or shops that work with the same or sometimes more intense situations.

The eight episodic series has been released altogether on Hulu and stars a really good cast, from the lead by White followed by Ebon Moss-Bachrach known for starring in The Punisher, Abby Elliot who was an SNL cast member for 5 years.

Created by Christopher Storer who also produced, directed, and wrote the famous Hulu series “Ramy”, the series is gritty, get in there and get your hand dirty drama that has some really good scenes that make you think twice about life decisions and some really good comedic scenes. It’s White’s first venture after starring in Shameless for 12 years right from his childhood and the experience really shows in “The Bear”.

Now coming to the season 2 of the show, as of now, The show is not renewed, but the way the show is getting responses, it is very much possible that the show will be renewed soon, If it happens it will release around Early 2024, we will back with some exclusive update soon.

You can stream the show on HULU.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
