Teresa Sanchez Spain Where Is She Now?: When it comes to a true crime documentary series, no one can beat Netflix in this genre because when Netflix presents any crime documentary show, it is perfect from every angle. Now, talking about the recently released Netflix crime documentary series, “The Playing Card Killer.”

The documentary is based on a true incident in Spain that happened in the year 2003. A serial killer named Alfredo Galan Sotilo has committed many crimes and murders, but only one survivor named Teresa Sanchez was able to survive. You can see her appearance in the Netflix documentary as well.

Who is Teresa Sanchez?

Teresa was struggling hard since she was 18. She was moving from one place to another to start her career. She was from Madrid. Her life changed upside down when a horrific incident happened to her on February 5th, 2003. She was in a bar when the Playing Card Killer entered that place.

She was 38 years old at that time and had gone with her son, Mikel Sanchez, to have lunch. But on that day, Teresa fell sick and was having terrible cramps. A customer named Juana Dolores Ucles came inside. All these things were mentioned by her in the docuseries. With tears in her eyes, she said, “He came inside, faced Mikel, pulled out a gun, and without even a second thought, he shot Mikel in his head.” Teresa froze at that moment. She was scared of what had just happened. She didn’t know what the motive behind this was.

Where is Teresa Sanchez now?

Teresa Sanchez moved into her parents’ house in Bilbao to get over that incident. Even after that time, there were several inquiries conducted by Madrid officials, and she cooperated with them every time. When she woke up in the ICU, officials came into the hospital because they wanted the sketch of the killer.

In fact, she became a major witness in court and honestly presented her statements. Teresa identified Alfredo in court. Her survival contributed so much to the officials.
