Sunflower Web Series: A big news comes up from the camp of Zee5 as they are working on a new show with Queen and Super 30 director Vikas Bahl. Reportedly the show has been titled Sunflower and is going to be of a crime comedy genre. This is going to be the debut for Vikas Bahl on the digital platform.
Seeing the trend of big stars venturing into the OTT market, even the directors have eyed the trend and are very much delighted to work in this space.
Sunflower will be directed by Rahul Sengupta with Bahl serving as the creator of the show. The show has been backed by Reliance Entertainment and Good Co.
Upon the announcement by Zee5, Bahl cared to comment on his new outing, he said:-
“This is my first project as a digital creator and it is fantastic to start off with ZEE5 on ‘SUNFLOWER’, a project which has been exciting from the moment we conceptualized it, to the point we finalized the script”.
Not a lot about the story is known except the fact that it revolves around the characters which are going to be highly relatable in real life. Plus the show is set in a housing society and thus we are in for a fun ride.
Since the project is in the early stage, no announcement regarding the cast has been made but once the product goes further we will be getting regular updates from the makers regarding the show.
