Significant Other 2 Release Date: “Significant Other” has been released on Paramount+ and while the film is quite interesting with its unique take on the alien invasion, it leaves us on a cliff-hanger a moment when we see a lot of alien spaceships coming to Earth and the film ends.
The film was itself a nightmare for the backpacking trail, killing quite a number of people and animals it’s terrifying to assume what it’ll do to humanity when this many aliens come to Earth and wreak havoc.
The film ended on a note that wants us eagerly waiting for the sequel because alien invasion is a very hot topic in the world and to end a film at just the start of that is a crime in my opinion. Well, the writer & director wanted to get us excited with a film that was definitely not super hyped so after the first one which was directly released on the OTT Platform, they’ll go for a proper theatrical release for the second one, if there is a second one. Maybe, the film was meant to end at this point only.

As of right now, we do not have any updates from the directors or the producers on whether the film is going to have a sequel or not. It just debuted on Paramount+ recently so after seeing what response it gets, we can hope for the producers to make a decision.

I hate cliff hangers and it seems like lately alot of TV series and movies are leaving its viewers with exactly that cliff hangers. Just when I get really into a TV show it gets canceled and I’m left feeling incomplete. Please don’t let this be another incomplete feeling to add to the others. Let there be a second movie to significant other.
I really hope there is a part 2. This movie was vastly different from most other alien invasion movies. It leaves me wondering if she’ll be a hero in this movie or if what she experienced in the forest is going to drive her mad or make her paranoid. There are so many what ifs so please don’t leave us hanging like this for to long.
