The series is set in a world where an abyssal fleet (War Ships) has taken over the seas. Only special human girls who possess the spirit of historical naval vessels known as kanmusu can defeat them.
The anime series voice cast, Saki Fujita as Akagi, Sumire Uesaka as Fubuki, Yuka Iguchi as Kaga, Aya Suzaki as Akatsuki and Hibiki, The show also stars Ikazuchi, Inazuma, Ayane Sakura as Jintsū, Mutsu and Shimakaze.
