The recently streamed show on Amazon Prime Video was created by Rensil D Silva, who is greatly known for his television show “24 India,” which was a mega-hit on television. Now, he has tried his hand at OTT, and the makers of “Mirzapur” and “Inside Edge” are a part of it. Excel Entertainment is really bringing quality content to its viewers.

Bambai Meri Jaan” started streaming on Prime Video on 14th September 2023, and the series is available with 10 episodes on Prime Video. The stellar star cast has made this show more intriguing. Actors like Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwary, Saurabh Sachdeva, Kritika Kamra, and many more are a part of this exciting series.

Audiences wanted to know about the real-life characters of this series, so here we start. “Bambai Meri Jaan” is based on a book titled “Dongri To Dubai,” which is penned by Hussain Zaidi. The book is based on the life of underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim.

The role of Dara is played by Avinash Tiwary, and the role of Dara’s sister Habeeba is played by Kritika Kamra. When Habeeba was born, Dara named her in the hospital. The story of the show focuses on the life of an honest policeman who never wanted to go down the wrong path but, due to unforeseen circumstances, has to face many difficulties in his life. Dara is basically portrayed as Dawood, and Habeeba as Haseena. She was also a part of the D Company and had a criminal organization. She worked for NGOs as well, which many don’t know about.

There is already a movie that depicts the real story of Habeeba (Haseena Parkar). The title of the movie is “Haseena Parkar,” starring Shraddha Kapoor in the leading role. The movie was a major flop at the box office.

Where is she now?

She is no more. At the age of 55, she suffered a heart attack and passed away on 6th July 2014. Haseena had 88 cases registered against her. We’ve already updated you on season 2, and there are high chances that the makers will showcase the life of Habiba Qadri more.
