However, what was interesting before the release of the film was that there were a whole lot of cameos in the film getting shown, and it was also mentioned that this will pave the way for the next “Golmaal” and will be connected to it as well. Here’s the list of all the cameos the film offers and how it does relate to Golmaal and its upcoming sequel Golmaal 5.

Deepika Padukone

The Chennai Express Actress does appear in the film but not as Meenamma Lochini but as Vrinda who is Ranveer’s character Roy’s childhood friend. Deepika appears only for that song titled “Current Laga Re”.

Ajay Devgn

The Golmaal Film Franchise’s Gopal played by Ajay Devgan does not make a cameo as we wanted but the character of Gopal makes an appearance though. In the end of the film, there are 5 children standing in front of the orphanage and one of them happens to be Gopal.

How Does Cirkus Connect With Golmaal 5?

Cirkus takes place in the 60s when the orphanage caretaker Roy does an experiment that ends up in the whole comedy of errors. However, in the end, there are 5 kids standing in front of the orphanage and when asked to introduce themselves, they turn out to be Gopal, Madhav, Laxman Prasad, Laxman Prasad Apte, and Lucky which is the cast of Golmaal and this is how Cirkus connects with the Golmaal Franchise.

Now, in Golmaal, we know that the lead characters are all orphans and now we know the orphanage all of them grew up in, In the last song during the credits, the whole cast of Cirkus seems to be giving us a very obvious hint by doing a “Golmaal” signature dance. However, Golmaal 5 is scheduled to release in 2023 its story is not revealed yet.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
