In this show, we see that Big Sun is the leader of the family and is the husband of Eileen Sun whereas he is the boss of Taipei’s criminal triad but he is shot by a mystery assassin and orders Charles to protect the family where we see that in his past he makes considerable enemies and operated his way up from poverty and teamed with his wife to build a criminal empire.
After his death, he makes Charles as a family leader, and which he is been prepared for this all his life where Eileen realizes her husband is ahead of her and Bruce makes a deal with Grace about ghosts and revenge but has second thoughts and calls June to save his brother where Big Sun pitches to everyone, and Eileen arrives to vote for her.
Scene Shifts, where we see that Bruce informs Big Sun about Xing’s death as he shoots him, and after that Big Sun offers him a spot in the team where he offers to either die or call an ambulance which leads to his arrest and Charles’ release.
