Alice In Borderland Chota and Karube Death: Chota and Karube were one of the most crucial and most talked about characters of the Netflix original show ‘Alice In Borderland, There was some confusion related to their Death too.

Episode 3 Recap

In Episode 3, Alice along with Chota, Karube, and Shibuki go to the arena to play as Shibuki and Chota’s visas are ending that way. They come across a Heart’s Game with a difficulty level of 7 which means that it was a game of betrayal. However, the game was “Hide And Seek” where one of the players was assigned the role of Wolf and the rest Lambs.

In 15 minutes of time, whoever is the Wolf will win the game and the rest will die. The role of the Wolf is passed on if eye contact is made. The 4 of them quickly realize that it’s the Wolf that needs to hide, not the Lambs because if Wolf’s role isn’t passed to anyone then, in the end, he wins and the rest die.

Shibuki runs away into the Botanical Garden with Karube going after her along with Alice. At the end of the Episode, Alice is the Wolf and is trying to find ways so that everyone is alive. Chota who was conflicted during the whole time has been blocking Shibuki so she doesn’t go to Alice and become the Wolf. Karube has been feeling betrayed because Alice is the Wolf and he has gone to hide.

How Did They Die?

However, towards the end, Alice isn’t able to find a way and is ready to sacrifice because his friends are all he has and he doesn’t want them to die so he apologizes and finds his friends to pass on the role but Karube along with Chota hide in the Botanical Garden so Alice isn’t able to find him.

Both Karube and Chota love Alice and even Karube at the start of the series is asking Alice to stop hanging out with them and live a normal life but in the end, they protect Alice and hide while Alice is running around in the Botanical Garden trying to find them. The Game ends and Alice remains the Wolf while the rest three die.
