Your Honor Review Sony Liv: Sonyliv release two originals today, one is Rajat Kapoor’s Kadakh and another is Jimmy Shergill starer web series Your Honor, we have already reviewed the original movie Kadakh and now here we are going to review the series from all its points.
The series is directed by National Award Winner director E. Niwas (For Shool), and stars some promising names of Bollywood like Jimmy Sheirgill, Mita Vasisht, Varun Badola, Parul Gulati and Yashpal Sharma, the series is total 12 episodes long and all are of about 30-35 minutes in duration.

Story
The story revolves around the Bishan Khosla, A District Judge ( Played By Jimmy), Abir Khosla, Son of Bishan Khosla, and Gangster Satbir Mudki and his sons, one fine day Abir Khosla Hit the bike of Satnam Mudki and run away from the spot, now the Bishan Khosla comes into the rescue for his son and he tries to all his effort to save him, on the other hand, Satbir Mudki uses his all gangster power to get them into Jail.
Who would succeed and who would fail, to know this you have to watch the 12 episode series if you don’t want to watch the series, there is full story explained video on our Youtube channel, You can go and check out there. In all these blame games and save the family drama, there are lots of trust and hidden secrets that keep coming out throughout the series.
Performances
I have seen Jimmy Shergil is Rangbaaz phir se and now watching him at doing this serious role is just amazing, from that Don and Gangster fame Image and now to an Innocent and caring father, Jimmy Shergil shines in every scene. Other actors have also done an amazing job. Mita Vasisht shine as cop Kiran and she is a stunner as always, the only thing I disliked about the acting is Parun Gulati and Varun Badola fake Bihar accent, I don’t know why they try to add this, I mean why can’t they be natural, both of them little lag behind in dialogue delivery, overall everyone has done a commendable job.
Screenplay & Editing
This is the area where Sony liv makers need to work out, their film was also lacking at this point, the series is very slow and stretchy, You can’t watch it in one go, actors are very slow and there are some useless scenes in every episode, if you watch this series in one go, you can’t bear it, although the screenplay is little better than editing, still art few places it looks like there is nothing thrill in that, the story is open from the first frame itself and you can’t make it interesting just by adding little twist into the end.
Overall
We are going with 3.2 out of 5 for the series, the plot is great but it was not executed properly, the ending is very very bad, there is a good twist at the end but still that is not enough, I don’t know why the makers are always in hurry for making the second season, many of you would be disappointed in the ending and going to hate the makers, but it is the trend of nowadays.
So if you want to watch the series, You must watch it in intervals, You can’t watch it in one go, and if you do so, You have to fast forward the episodes. The series is of 12 episodes and now streaming on Sonyliv.
