Earlier in February 2021, it was announced that actor Ram Pothineni was bought on board for director Lingusamy’s upcoming bilingual. Later it was revealed that Uppena fame Krithi Shetty was cast alongside Ram and Aadhi Pinisetty has been cast for the role of antagonist.
Today on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri the makers revealed the first look of Aadhi Pinisetty. His character name is Guru. Aadhi looks ferocious in his look and we are surely getting the bad boy vibes from his eyes.
Aadhi was last seen alongside Keerthy Suresh in Good Luck Sakhi which turned out to be a box office dud and is currently gearing up for the release of his next movie CLAP which is touted to be streaming soon on ott platform Sony LIV.
Lingusamy first approached Stylish Star Allu Arjun for this project but due to a busy schedule and other commitments he couldn’t take up this project and it fell in Ram’s lap. The principal photography of the film began in the month of July in Chennai and Hyderabad. The third schedule of the film has been commenced in January this year. The movie is being simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu languages. The digital rights of the film are with Disney Plus Hotstar and the satellite rights with Star Maa.

The film also stars Akshara Gowda and Nadhiya along with young sensation Krithi Shetty. Pothineni’s last theatrical release was Red a remake of Tamil Hit film Thadam. Ram is known to pick variety of scripts and enthrall the audience. We are sure The Warrior ticks all the boxes of masala and action and serve the audience what they want.
