Yes you guessed it right! We are talking about 44 cats which are coming with its season 2.
44 cats or 44 Gatti ( in Italian) is an Italian preschool animated television series created by Iginio Straffi. Co-produced with Antoniano di Bologna in collaboration with Rai Ragazzi, the series is produced and distributed by the Rainbow studio Viacom’s Nickelodeon channels broadcast 44 Cats worldwide, while RAI’s YoYo network airs the series in Italy.
Set in the world of animals, 44 Cats follows the daily adventures of Lampo, Milady, Pilou, and Meatball – four adorable kittens and series follows the adventures of four kittens who make up a musical group called the Buffycats. The first season of 44 Cats established record ratings since its very first launch in November 2018 and is now on air in over 100 countries and in more than 20 languages.

The series is produced by Rainbow in collaboration with Antoniano and Rai Ragazzi, the series is conquering more and more children and families on all media platforms a growing hit for ratings and web interactions, and is becoming increasingly popular worldwide in the licensing sector, with more than 100 international partners in a wide range of consumer product categories, with both national and multi-territorial deals. The series has been in the air since 2018 and has garnered deals all of the world by various digital platforms like Netflix, Tencent, and Youku in China, Start ru and Yandex in Russia. 44 Cats Season 2 Overview
Season 2 of the hit show has already been on the air in Italy and thus we have an overview of what happens in it. Season two of 44 Cats will contain 52 x 13-minute episodes, bringing the number of episodes of the series up to 104 x 13-minute episodes. In the new season of 52 episodes, the Buffycats and Granny Pina will be joined by new animal and human friends and will face new missions and surprises. The mix of action, comedy, friendship, and great music makes 44 Cats a series that stands out worldwide, with a soundtrack of original songs by Antoniano.
44 cats became the most-watched Italian-produced cartoon of 2018 when it debuted on Rai Yoyo on Monday 12th November 2018, recording record ratings of 527,000 viewers and a 2.71% audience share, helping Rai Yoyo to continue to be the most-watched children’s channel in Italy! Since its debut, 44 Gatti has also held the record for the highest viewing share amongst children aged 4-7 years, reaching 16% and an average audience of 350,000 viewers in the 19.15 timeslot.
Netflix seeing The popularity of the show played their move and acquired the rights to stream the show and the show has been well received by the targeted audience. Therefore Netflix has decided to release the 2nd season of the show.

Season 2 of the series is going to release on Netflix from 1st June 2020, the series is already blockbuster in Italy and hopes it would be a huge hit on Netflix too.
