Mee Raqsam Review Zee5: A few days back Netflix released Gunjan Saxena starring Janhavi Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi, the movie was loved a lot the by critics as well as audiences and all credit goes to the Father-Daughter beautiful relationship, Now zee5 has released the similar movie with little change in Plot, Mee Raqsam is now streaming On Zee5 and here in the post I am going to review the movie.
The movie stars Aditi Subedi and Danish Hussain in the main lead role, the movie also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Rakesh Chaturvedi and Shradha Kaul in crucial roles, the movie is now available on Zee5 and approx 90 Minutes Long, let’s jump to the review of the movie.

Plot
The plot of the movie is very similar to the Gunjan Saxena, like the Gunjan Saxena, the story of Mee Raqsam revolves around the Mariam, she loved dancing and she wants to become the dancer, her father Salim supports her by going to any extent, some extreme fundamentalist tries to put him down and stop him from supporting his daughter in dancing but he goes against everyone and stand-alone for his daughter, one of the Mariam friend helps her a lot in learning dance and skills, can Mariam prove her father right? is she able to slap the fundamentalist from her achievements, to know this You have to watch the full movie on Zee5?.
Performances
The two main lead pair Danish Hussain as Salim and Aditi Subedi as Mariam, steals the show, especially Aditi, she is just stunning and she provides justice to her role, the same is with the Danish Hussain, he is brilliant in the role of the father, Nasrudin Shah has very little screen presence in the movie still he fits perfectly in the role of fundamentalist, other actors from the movie were equally brilliant too, the only difference between Gunjan Saxena and Mee Raqsam is that the lead actress from the movie is just amazing.
Screenplay & Editing
The story is very much predictable and the story is very clear, there is no thrill or suspense in the movie, the story goes simple and ends with an emotional climax, what I liked about the movie is it’s editing, it’s superb, the movie is very short, it is approx 80 minutes long and there are no useless songs, dance, and dialogues in the movie, everything is up to the point and I loved this, the editing of the movie is very good, the music is decent and Bg score is awesome.
Overall
We are going with the 3 out of 5 stars for the movie, the movie is another great showcase of Father-Daughter relationship, if you loved the Gunjan Saxena You are surely going to love this too, if you are looking for any thrill and uniqueness then avoid it, Watch the movie on Zee5, the movie is available in Hindi audio along with Subtitles.
