Leo 2 Release Date: Leo film has been released in theatres, the movie is getting mixed views from critics and audiences but fans love it for the performance of Thalapathy Vijay and some LCU Cameos. Some fans even want Leo 2, and if you are one of the fans who wants to watch more of Leo Das and wants Leo 2 then I have some news for you.
Is Leo 2 Happening?
No, Leo 2 isn’t happening. Lokesh Kanagaraj who is the director of Leo has other plans for LCU (Loki Cinematic Universe) and he doesn’t have any plan for Leo 2 as it is not going to fit in LCU. He is going to end the LCU in Vikram as the LCU started from it. Lokesh got the idea to build a Universe while writing Vikram, that’s why he connected Kaithi with Vikram. If you watched Kaithi, it’s a totally solo film.
It also might be impossible to make Leo 2 as Thalapathy Vijay is going to enter politics in 2024 and he might stop doing films for that reason. But don’t worry as Vijay always thinks about his fans, so I don’t think he will deny any role or extended cameo appearance in upcoming LCU films.
