As per Gunsmith Dave’s first volume which is a spin-off series of Golgo 13, the whole Golgo 13 franchise has over300Million copies in the market. Big Comic launched the Gunsmith Dave in July last year. The first season of that manga concluded on 17th May 2022. Saito Production and Saito are credited as the creators of this manga.
The story follows Dave who loves helping everyone and makes Duke Togo’s work possible.
Even though Saito passed away in September of last year, the manga is continued and is the oldest manga in production. Shogakukan described Saito’s wish to keep the manga continued as an inspiration. As of now, the manga work is handled by Shogakukan, and the editorial department of Big Comic magazine is handled by Shogakukan himself.
They’ve hired some additional scriptwriters as well. A new spin-off manga of Goldo 13 will be launched in the Big Comic Zokan’s issue this 15th of July.
