Fellow Travelers follows the story of Hawkins and Tim who worked in the federal government in the 1950s. the 1950s is best known for McCarthyism, where the government fired government officers who were queer, and sometimes they made false cases of them being communists.
Cast
Matt Bomer played the role of Hawkins Fuller, an Ex-military officer who is working in the federal government. Jonathan Bailey played the role of Tim Laughlin, working as a junior assistant writer in McCarthy’s office while also spying for Hawkins. Allison Williams played the role of Lucy Smith, a Senator and the wife of Hawkins Fuller.
