The performances by the cast are also great, especially Val’s character who is the backbone of the movie, the background feels a little bit off in some scenes but can be ignored.

Overall the movie is a good adaption of the book and we want to see more of Ann Rule’s crime collection if the direction and performance are such good. The ending is predictable after watching the movie for some time. The color gradient is great, you can give this movie a shot if you are a fan of crime thrillers especially those which are based on true stories.
