Wonderful World Episode 3 Recap and Explained: Disney released a fourteen-episodic Korean thriller drama “Wonderful World”. “Wonderful World” is a revenge thriller drama. Eun Soo Hyun is a well-known writer and professor who lived very peacefully with her husband and son.
In a car accident, her son dies which changes everything in their life. As the court suspends the killer’s sentence, Eun Soo Hyun drives the car over him and he dies. Later she was sentenced to 7 years in jail. After her jail life, she comes back to her place and how her life goes after it is the plot of this drama.
Episode 3 started with Eun Soo Hyun coming to her home after releasing from jail. Eun Soo Hyun’s mother is inside the house. As they met again they became very happy to see again. Mother tells her to move on with her life by forgetting the dark and depressing past. Eun Soo Hyun’s sister Yuri is now well-grown in her business and work.

Eun Soo Hyun meets Yuri and they have a conversation about their happiness. Later Eun Soo Hyun went to the police station to enquire about the survivor of the fire accident that happened in Yangpyeong in 2003. But the records have been moved after 2005, so she was unable to get the information.
Eun Soo Hyun meets others who can get her information about that guy. She goes to the college to meet the psychology counsellor whom the surived kid was patient. At the college Eun Soo Hyun gets an old memory of her celebrating her birthday with the students. The professor meets Eun Soo Hyun and tells her that it’s been 10 years since she saw the kid. She doesn’t know where he is now. Yuri gifts a chappal to Eun Soo Hyun which is a copy pair of the one she has. She tells Eun Soo Hyun that Kang Soo Ho is back and asks if Eun Soo Hyun going to meet him.
Later the psychology counselor lady calls Eun Soo Hyun and tells the address from the old counselling log. Eun Soo Hyun went to meet the guy at the address, but he was not there. She goto to his workplace to meet him. Kwon Sun Yool is on his next contract mission, he follows congressmen on his bike to a stranded resort. The congressman is partying inside the house with many girls, Kwon Sun Yool takes photos of them, but suddenly security guard sees him and he leaves there wounded. Finally, Eun Soo Hyun meets Kwon Sun Yool at his workplace.
Eun Soo Hyun tells Kwon Sun Yool that she came here to apologise to him which was requested by the lady who caused the fire that day. She adds that that lady is no more and even at her death time she said sorry to him.
But Kwon Sun Yool didn’t accept the apology and shouted at Eun Soo Hyun. Eun Soo Hyun showed him the diary given by the lady to him. As he didn’t accept the apology, Eun Soo Hyun went to his place daily. He doesn’t care much about her standing there. One night when he lost his mother’s chain at the water, Eun Soo Hyun went into the mud and found him.

When Eun Soo Hyun gave the chain back to Kwon Sun Yool she told him that she faced the same pain when she lost her son. Next, we see Kang Soo Ho at an award ceremony. Kang Soo Ho won this year’s Korean Press Association’s Journalist of the Year Award. He is now the ABS news department director. He got many gifts and appreciation from everyone. Kang Soo Ho comes to Eun Soo Hyun’s home and they both meet again. Kang Soo Ho asks her to take him back as her husband. Eun Soo Hyun avoids him but she can’t resist his emotions.
Eun Soo Hyun and Kang Soo Ho go to Kang Soo Ho’s house for lunch and eat with Kang Soo Ho’s mother and brother. Apparently, Kang Soo Ho’s mother is not happy with Eun Soo Hyun’s comeback into his life. As Eun Soo Hyun and Kang Soo Ho got back together after Kang Soo Ho proposed to her again, a strange guy was watching them. He is in a dark room with many pictures of Eun Soo Hyun and Kang Soo Ho and people connected to it.
Kang Soo Ho was asked to get Eun Soo Hyun on an interview with him. As they finish the interview, Kwon Sun Yool calls to Eun Soo Hyun and says he needs the diary even though he doesn’t accept the apology. Eun Soo Hyun gets an anonymous envelope from that strange guy.
When she opened it, it was a photo of Kang Soo Ho romancing with an unknown lady. Also, we see the guy is the son of the driver who killed Eun Soo Hyun’s son and later got killed by Eun Soo Hyun.
Overall this episode was a thrilling watch. Especially at the end. The ending twist was very unexpected. From now on the story will entirely change to a thriller mode. We can expect more mysteries to be revealed.
