The Son Movie (2022): Sony Pictures Classics has released the trailer with the release date of the upcoming action thriller drama film The Son, which is based on the stage play Le Fils by Zeller from 2018.
The Son follows the story of a 17-year-old Nicholas whose family is getting a divorce after that he no longer feels to stay with his mother who name is Kate so he movies with his father whose name is Peter, who lives with Beth his new partner where Peter tries to care for Nicholas as he wishes his father had cared for him.
The Son cast includes Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, Zen McGrath, Hugh Quarshie, Anthony Hopkins, and more. This movie is written by Florian Zeller, is produced by Joanna Laurie, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Florian Zeller, and Christophe Spadone, and is directed by Florian Zeller.
The Son had its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on 7 September 2022 which received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the performances of Huge Jackman and are scheduled to be released in the United States on 11 November.
