The Luminaries Season 1: Netflix’s latest offering is a series called The Luminaries. It is adapted from the best selling novel of 2013 by Eleanor Catton. The show is set in the 1860s and thus we are in for a historical setting in the show. The show’s story takes place in New Zealand. The show was a joint venture by British and New Zealand and was premiered on TVNZ ( of New Zealand) on 17th May 2020. And on BBC One on 21st June 2020. Netflix is bringing the show for its global audience.

Plot
The plot follows an adventurous woman named Anna Wetherall who has traveled from the United Kingdom and has arrived on the West coast of New Zealand during the 1860s West Coast Gold Rush. The series will tell us the story of Anna and how does she gets her life in the middle of Love, Murder, and Revenge as everyone is trying to make fortune and there are bound to be betrayals.
Cast
The series stars Eve Hewson, Eva Green, Himesh Patel, Ewen Leslie, Marton Csokas, and others in important and crucial roles, the more characters of the series would be revealed in coming days, once the series goes on Air.

Release Date
Netflix has announced that season 1 of the show will start streaming from 20th July 2020. The series would be available worldwide for all the Netflix users, there is still confusion about the audio version of the series.
Hindi Dubbed
The series would not be available in Hindi audio as per official confirmation, the series would be available in regional audio and English along with the subtitles.
