The Last Hour Review: After watching the trailer of the series, I was having lots of expectations from the series, the concept looks good to me and i was so excited for it, I just finished all 8 episodes from Amazon Prime Video original series The Lat Hour and here I am going talk about the Plot, Performances, highlights and about some negative points of the series.

The web series stars Sanjay Kapoor, Karma Takapa, and Shyalee Krishnan in main lead roles, the series also stars Robin Tamang, Mandakini Goswami, Raima Sen, and others, the series is created by Amit Kumar and Anupma Niaz. The web series if total of 8 episodes and all episodes are approx 30-35 minutes long. The series is now streaming in Hindi audio with English subtitles, The series is not family-friendly as there are few Skin Shows and some use of strong languages.

The plot of the series was very much clear from the trailer, the series revolves around A Police Cop Anup who is for a murder investigation and a man (Dev) who has the natural power to talk with dead people and he can know about The Last Hour of the dead bodies, For murder investigation Inspector asks for the help from Dev when he joins hands with Cop they get to know about some shocking secrets. The plot goes more twisted when Dev falls in love with the daughter (Pari) of Anup and now Pari wants Dev to talk with her dead mother and all these things bring some shocking events. Who was the killer? what happened to Pari’s Mother? to know this you have to watch the full web series on Amazon Prime Video.

Karman Takapa is the biggest highlight of the series, he is playing the character of Dev and he is killing it, he is a north Indian actor but the way he has portrayed the role is just amazing, his expressions, his dialogue delivery everything was just amazing. Sanjay Kapoor but still he lacks his old charisma, he looks decent in the role of Cop but that role lacks that seriousness at few frames. Robin Tamang was amazing in his role and he looks great with his dialogue delivery, expressions, and body language.

Shayalee is so pretty in the series and she looks innocent as well, you can’t your eyes off from him, she looks cute and simply amazing, her dialogue delivery was so calm and she was very good during the serious conversation too. Raima sen and Mandakini Goswami were decent in their roles respectively.

The concept of the series was amazing but the way the makers created it is just worst, the screenplay is very very poor, the series is long, directionless and the climax, I am still confused about what was that. The series starts very well during the first 30 minutes, in fact, the first episode was decent and then it loses its charm, direction everything. Till episode 6 everything looks imbalanced. There is no direction of the story, the editing was very poor and sometimes VFX was at its all-time low. The episodes are very long and the makers are just dragging the series episode by episode. The music was decent and the locations were good, the series was shoot in Some parts of Sikkim and it looks beautiful.

I am going with 2 out of 5 stars for the series, 1 is for the concept and 1 star is for performances, there is nothing else in the series, if you have nothing to watch, you can watch this supernatural drama on amazon prime video, please note that there is nothing like the thriller and don’t expect any horror or thrilling element in it. Please don’t watch it with family and Kids as there are few skin shows and strong Verbal dailouges.
