The Brothers Sun Episode 1: The Brothers Sun is an American black comedy action series and is created by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu this show follows the life of Bruce Sun and his brother named Charles and they plan to move to Los Angeles from Taipei, Taiwan and we see that Bruce learns about his family’s gangster background are more you see in this show.
In this article, I am going to recap episode 1 of this show which is written by Kevin Tancharoen and directed by Byron Wu & Brad Falchuk, where I will cover all the details and what happened in episode 1 of this show along with the plot and summary in detail.
In episode 1 of this show, titled, “Pilot”, where we see that two armed guards face a brutal takedown by skilled gangster Charles and we see that he kills all the guards while making his cake in the microwave and we see a bald man and his crew are summoned to clear the bodies and erase any traces from the blood-stained carpet.
After that, we find that Charles the son of a wealthy gangster from the Chinese Triad and is reproached for his excessive killing and we find that the skilled sniper shoots Charles’ father through the window of a building across the street and is causing him to slip into a coma and his father orders him to find his mother and brother in Los Angeles and protect them from harm.
Later, we see that Bruces shares the same bloodline as Charles but is an ordinary man making ends meet by driving a taxi to pay for college tuition and we find that he is a talented actor, is struggling financially, and seeks help from his friend TK to borrow five grand from his mother and he agree for that.
At the end of this episode, we see that In Los Angeles, we see that charles discovers a henchman waiting to assassinate him. He defeats him and offers him a cigarette and Mama Sun discovers a dead body and expresses her frustration and we see that Charles finds his brother Bruce selling drugs at a nightclub and the episode ends.
