The latest Disney+ documentary series follows the life of popular Korean rapper and BTS star SUGA as he travels across different countries to find inspiration for his latest album D-Day. In this article, we will talk about the real-life characters seen in the series, and one of them is Min Yoon-gi. Let’s get started.

Min Yoon-gi, popularly known by his stage name Suga, is a South Korean songwriter, producer, and singer. He made his debut with the very popular Korean boy band BTS in 2013, with the song “No More Dream.” He is a well-known artist with his song “Agust D,” which reached number three on the Billboard world album chart.

He won the Best R&B award at the Melon Music Awards in 2017. Suga also wrote and performed the introduction track for BTS’s “Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life,” which was released as an animated video in 2015.

While working with BTS, he has also released two solo songs. The first song, “First Love,” was released in 2016 and showcases his early life, his struggles, and how he fell in love with music. The second song, “Trivia: Seesaw,” was released in 2018 and shows how falling in love is full of ups and downs.

He is a very popular Korean artist, and in 2021, he recreated the Samsung signature ringtone “Over The Horizon,” which was released at Samsung’s “Unpacked” event. He was announced as the brand ambassador for Valentino in January 2023, and in April 2023, he became the brand ambassador for the very popular basketball game NBA.

His solo album D-Day was released on April 21, and the series that tells the story of how he took inspiration for making the album also premiered on the same day on Disney+ Hotstar.
