Sandwich (Web Series) SonyLiv: Sony Liv is not looking back since their new avatar came out earlier this year. With serious thinking done in the past few years, Sony Liv is looking to stay in the market, and for that, they are making some serious noise with the content they are rolling out.
Recently Sony Liv released the time travel web series Jl50 which impressed the audience and now they are bringing another massy show which is going to be a comedy-drama.
The show is titled Sandwich and is being marketed as a comedy-drama. Sandwich is being directed by Rohan Sippy, the son of legendary Ramesh Sippy. If this wasn’t enough to get you excited, we are sure that after reading the cast you definitely would be on board for the series.
The show has taken brilliant actors of today’s time which include Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni, Ahana Kumra, Lubna Salim, Akshay Bhagat, Zakir Hussain, and others. The positive point for Sandwich is that majority of the actors have been part of web television shows which have been huge hits. And thus the face value of them would be a pretty good strategy by the makers for the new show.
It has been reported that the shooting of the show is almost completed and that the makers are giving it the final touches. The sandwich is all set to arrive on Sony Liv. But no official announcement has been made by the platform as of yet. We may get it in the coming weeks. Seems like makers are eyeing for a date which can get the audience to watch the show
