Salaar Day 9 Collection: Directed by Prashanth Neel and released on 22nd December 2023, the film seems to be delivering a great performance at the box office despite having neck-to-neck competition with SRK’s Dunki. Prabhas’ film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is an Indian thriller action movie that has already received a tremendous response from the public since its release.

Despite tough competition due to Dunki’s release on 21st December, Salaar had an impressive opening day collection with a total revenue of Rs. 91 Cr. Compared to the opening day collection, the film has witnessed a decline in overall revenue as Day 2 collection was Rs. 56 Cr, and respectively, Day 3 and Day 4 were Rs. 62 Cr and Rs. 46 Cr.

As the Christmas holidays are over and weekdays have started, these could be major reasons for the decline in box office collections. Even on Day 5th, Salaar collected Rs. 25 Cr, Rs.17 Cr, and Rs. 15 Cr* on Day 6 and Day 7, making it a total weekly collection of Rs. 322 Cr, revenue net India.

The film has been shot in the fictional city of Khansaar, where the friendship between two people has been shown, a tribesman and the prince. Also, the director has provided great visuals to depict the challenges faced by them to fulfill the promises they made with each other, along with the ongoing difficulties.

Prabhas has acted as ‘Deva’ alias ‘Salaar,’ which translates to ‘warrior.’ The film has been well-directed and written by Prashanth Neel with a remake of Ogramm, his previous Kannada language film released in 2014.
