Saath Nibhana Saathiya Season 2: Just weeks ago a video went viral which was the clip from the seemingly hit show Saath Nibhana Saathiya. The video ‘Rasode Mein Kaun Tha’ was created by Yashraj Mukhate and it spread like a wildfire over the internet. Garnering more than 50 million views across formats plus having the number 1 trend in Twitter made the video a huge success and garnered fame as well as acclaim for Yashraj.
Now seeing the popularity of the video the makers of the show have decided to come back with a second season. The first season of the show was a hit between the audience but since the digital era of memes began the show was in talks for other reasons such as Gopi who was the protagonist of the show was a meek and naive housewife who didn’t know anything about the electronics as she wasn’t educated.
Her Cousin fooled her into washing the laptop with soap and detergent and hanging it out like a cloth. Now this clip, it means that the show was never out of the minds of people but in a different way. Makers have decided that they should capitalize on the popularity that the show is receiving.
Plot
Star Plus released an official teaser for the show where we see Gopi who is played by Devoleena Bhattacharjee introduces us to the new season by saying the name of Gehna continuously. It seems that the season will be surrounded around Gehna and Gopi and others are in for a few first episodes. What can be assumed is that Gehna might be the daughter of Gopi and is now a grown-up. We might see the familiar rivalry between two female characters who try to outwit each other.
Cast
Harsh Nagar and Sneha Jain are confirmed as lead pair for the serial, there is no official confirmation on the remaining cast is out as of yet because makers are still finalizing the actors for the supporting roles.
Release Date
Once the casting is done we might get official news from the channel and when the shooting starts, keeping in mind the restrictions due to the pandemic we’ll get the show most probably in the month of October-November 2020.
