Ram Prasad Ki Tehrvi Netflix Review: So it finally released on Netflix and i was waiting for this for so long, the film got a lot of love from the critics although it was a box office disaster, it was one of the most awaited films of 2021 on Netflix, I just finished the film and here in the post I am going to review it.

The movie is full of an amazing cast, the movie stars some really talented actors like Vinay Pathak, Vikrant Massey, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vineet Kumar, Manoj Pahwa, Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak, and more. The movie is directed by Seema Pahwa. The movie is approx 110 minutes long and is now available on Netflix and Jio cinema in Hindi audio with subtitles.

Plot

The story starts with a huge middle-class family, Ramprasad passes away due to cardiac arrest, his sons, daughter, and in-laws visit to complete his funeral, As per rituals the whole family has to sit for 13 days for Tehrvi, family members sits together talks and remind others about the old memories and in all between these things there comes a hot topic of discussion as who is going to take care of mother now, the movie is all about the family politics, emotional drama, and Greed. Performances

The names of the cast & crew of the film are enough to describe how legendry this film is going to be in terms of acting, the movie is an absolute masterpiece in terms of acting, Konkana Sen Sharma is shining again in her role after masterclass performance in Ajeeb Dastaan. Vikrant Messay is on fire and he is completely in new avtar, Vineet Kumar is amazing as always and the Same is with the Manoj Pahwa. Supriya Pathak was equally amazing. Everyone from the film has done so amazing job that it feels like real-life, the emotions, body language, and dialogues feel so realistic and sometimes funny too.

Analysis

The best part about the film is, the movie is different from the Netflix original Pagglait, although the plot is a little the same there is a major difference in terms of the performances and the endings and all. The screenplay and dialogues are good and the locations are just amazing, The movie is a hard hitter and it questions where we are going and up to how much humans can go for greed and money, the movie looks relatable and emotional and asks many things from us, the editing of the film is awesome and the length of the film is another good thing about the film.

Overall

I am going with 3 out of 5 stars for the film, if you are looking for some family drama to watch this weekend, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi is a good choice, You can watch the movie with family as we had told you, the movie is now available on Netflix in Hindi audio with subtile.
