Poison Season 2 Review: Zee5 is back with another season of superhit web series Poison, the season 2 of the series is bigger and better in terms of cast and locations, here in the post we are going to tell you more about the performances, screenplay and other details of the series.
The web series stars Aftab Shivdasani in the main lead role, the series also stars Zain Imam (Namakaran Fame), Rahul Dev, Pooja Chopra (Commando), Asmita Soda, and Vin Rana along with Tahir Khan, the series is directed by Vishal Pandya, the director of the movies like Hate Story.
Plot
The series continues with the season 1, in the brand new season Jaiveer (Played Karan Veer ) returns as Aditya (Played by Aftab Shivdasani) to avenge his enemies Sara, her brother Oscar and her husband Harsh. The series revolves around various business deal and twists and turns, Aditya first won the trust of Sara as he really cares about her, and then he tries to get over her and take his revenge, in all these between lots of twist and turns took place which keeps turning the coin, would Aditya able to won the game and take revenge or he would be trapped into another game, to know this you have to watch the series.
Performances
Well, if I talk about the performances, I would go with neutral, there is nothing like blockbuster and nothing like a flop in terms of performances, actors have done decent jobs except few, at few places Aftab Shivdasani lacks expression, Pooja Chopra doesn’t fit the role of a police cop, Raai Laxmi is impressive and she has done an awesome job, Gaurav Sharma is also decent and he is in never seen before avatar, Zain Iman as Harsh was okay too, the series looks like a Tv serial and the performances are of the same level.
Screenplay & Other
The screenplay is the weakest part of the series, there are lots of twists and turns which makes the series irritating and uninteresting, the story is too much complex and it looks like Race 3, the music of the series is brilliant and I liked the music most, I think it is the best part about the series. The locations are brilliant and the series looks lavishing. The editing of the series sucks too much, the series is a total of 11 episodes, and honestly speaking it should not be such long.
 Overall
I am going with 2 out of 5 stars for the series, the series is lavishing and a musical charm and it lacks in terms of story and the performances at few places, there are lots of twists & turns and backstories which spoils the mood, I would not recommend the series.
But if you are a fan and love any of the cast in the series and want to watch the series even after review, you can check the series on Zee5, the series is of total 11 episodes and all are approx 25 minutes long, Don’t watch the series with family and Kids as the series is meant for Adul*ts.
