Noise (2023) Movie Review: Netflix original Belgium thriller film ‘Noise’ is now streaming on Netflix, The film is available in Flemish, English, and a few more dubbed version, I just finished the film, and here goes the detailed review of the film.
The film stars Ward Kerremans as Matthias, Sallie Harmsen as Liv, and Jesse Mensah as Timme in the main lead roles, The film also stars Johan Leysen as Pol in the crucial roles, The film is directed by Steffen Geypens. The film is around 90 Minutes long and Is suitable to watch with family and Kids. Let’s Jump to the review.
The plot of the film revolves around Matthias and Liv, The couple has recently shifted to Matthias’s Father’s house with their Small Child, Matthias came to know that something has happened with his father and mother in the Past and when he starts investigating the case, He gets to know some shocking facts, How this is going to affect his life, To know this You need to watch the full movie on Netflix.
Coming to the performances, Ward Kerremans is the star of the film and he was good in the film, The sudden switch in his character was amazing and he delivered a brilliant performance in the film. On the other hand, Sallie Harmsen as Liv was decent, She looks Charming and confident in her character. Johan Leysen and Jesse Mensah were good in small yet impactful roles.
The writing of the film looks terrible and the film lacks the soul itself, One of the weakest Parts of the film is its runtime and the Pace, The film is very slow and the sad Part it is, that it offers nothing at the end, The locations of the film is decent and the Music of the film is also below average, The film also needs a lot of work in editing as well.
The performance was decent but still, they were not enough to save the film, The dialogues written were also pretty average but the saddest Part of the film is Climax, which was soulless and it is going spoil the mood of many of you for sure.
I am going with 1.5 out of 5 stars for the film, The film is a Poorly made thriller that lacks in every aspect, I will suggest you stay away from it and Skip the film, If you still want to watch the film, You can have a look at it on Netflix in English and Flemish audio version with subtitles.
