Mr. Harrigan’s Phone Ending Explained: Netflix has once again added one of Stephen King’s Stories as a Film Adaptation to its long catalog of Horror Films that were written by Stephen King.

What is especially different about “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone” is that it’s not just about the murders that a ghost of Mr. Harrigan seems to be committing because they seem to be torturing Craig in some way, but the beautiful relationship between a Billionaire Mogul who is residing in a secluded town who is lonely but tough enough to not accept that and how he and Craig meet and their beautiful relationship develops is quite wholesome to watch, irrespective of what the film is about.

Towards the end of the film after Craig willingly asks Mr. Harrigan to kill Deane Whitmore who is responsible for the death of his High School Biology teacher Ms. Hart and when he does die, Craig feels guilty and we see him at Mr. Harrigan’s grave and we see Craig talking about what he thinks of the texts that Mr. Harrigan has sent him that he did not understand before.

Either Mr. Harrigan wants to leave this world easily and Craig needs to let him go or Mr. Harrigan is keeping a watch over Craig but in the end, Craig throws the iPhone which is the medium of communication between them into a lake and the film ends with Craig saying that when he dies, he wants to be buried with empty pockets because none of this would have happened if Craig didn’t have put the iPhone that he bought for Mr. Harrigan in his pockets during the funeral.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
