‘Lift’ Movie Review: Heist thrillers are one of the most-watched content on Netflix, and that’s the reason why Netflix keeps bringing such types of films. Another money heist thriller, ‘Lift,’ is now streaming on Netflix with multiple audio versions along with subtitles. The film is directed by F. Gray, and the film is around 100 minutes long. Here is a detailed review of the film.

The film stars Kevin Hart playing as Cyrus (who is the head of the gang) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw playing as Abby, an Interpol Officer. The film also stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Ursula CorberO, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, and others in crucial roles. The film is a family-friendly show, and there is one kissing scene in the film.

The story of the film revolves around Cyrus and his team. The team is known for doing impossible robberies with ease. Abby asks for help from Cyrus as they have to steal a huge amount of gold from a flying plane. Initially, Cyrus rejects the offer, but after some more talks and deals, Cyrus and his team agree to do this heist. Whose money was on the plane and how the life of everyone is going to change after this mission? To know this, you need to watch the full movie on Netflix.

The story of the film is flat and full of loopholes. The film lacks research, and this is not a quality film that we were expecting from Kevin. There are lots of things during the heist that looks illogical, and they never make any sense. Everything looks so easy for robbers, and the thrilling moment was missing throughout the film.

The film excels in comic moments; Kevin was amazing with his brilliant comic timing, and the rest of the characters were equally good. The dialogues were great, and they never look dull. The action of the film was pretty average, but the climax plane sequence looks great and realistic. Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Abby was also good in her role, and she shares great chemistry with Kevin.

The music and BGM of the film were not up to the mark, and due to that, the film looks flat all the time. The screenplay is also flat, and it never offers any excitement. The film is an average heist flick, and if you have nothing to watch, you may give this film a chance.
