Kaali Kuhi Review Netflix:Â Kali Kuhi i.e The Black Well is Netflix original movie that released today on Netflix, the movie is a horror drama starring Shabana Azmi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Riva Arora, here in the post we are going to review the movie, we would also talk about the storyline, performances and few other details of the movie.
The movie is about 90 minutes in length and available in Hindi audio along with the English and Hindi subtitles on Netflix, the movie is clean in terms of strong languages and skin shows, so you can watch the movie with family without any issues.
What Is It About?
Coming on the plot, The film starts from a village in Punjab where female children are killed as soon as they are born, Shivangi, a young girl from the city, comes to live with her maternal grandmother in the same village, and then begins the horror story.with the truth of the past.
The environment of the village goes dark as people start dying one by one, first Shivangi’s grandmother is killed, then her father is suddenly attacked and then her mother also worsens, her childhood friend also transform into the ghost, what is the reason behind all this Was and why were all these things happening, to know the actual reason behind this, You have to watch the 90 minutes long movie on Netflix.
Performances
The best thing about the movie is the performances and the artists, The biggest highlight of the film is Rewa Arora, she has played the character of the little girl Shivangi in such a great way that even the big actors can’t, Reva Arora has done a great job and you should watch the movie for this brilliant child.
Shabana Azmi is the second big from the film and her work is also awesome, the film revolves around Rewa and Shabana mainly, the other actors of the film like Satyadeep Mishra (Darshan, Father of Shibangi) and Sajinda Sheikh (Priya, Mother of Shivangi) were also good, there are total 5-6 actors in the movie and each of them is brilliant.
Highlights & Drawbacks
The biggest highlight from the movie is the locations and the performances, the locations are just mindblowing and it reminds us of Tumbad, the music is also good and the performances are the biggest plus point of the movie especially Riva Arora, the drawbacks from the movie are the whole story of the movie, it looks familiar and the ending left you confused.
Overall, the film would have been very successful if the makers had worked on the script of the film, due to this the film lags behind in spite of some great performances by brilliant actors.
Overall
I am going with 2.5 Out of 5 for the movie, the movie is a gem in terms of performances but it lacks in terms of script, and the screenplay, the movie is approx 90 minutes in length and you can watch it with family on Netflix.

Horrible movie
A bit confused about the end! All girls came back to life? They were killed as soon as they were born! What about the pregnant mother? And the bite of Shivangi?? Anyway overall I think it’s a good movie and makes us réalise that nowadays perhaps is this horror still happening in some Indian villages.
