His Story Review:His Storyy is just released a few hours back on the AltBalaji and Zee5 website and app and I just finished the series and here I am going to tell you about the Good and bad of the series, I would talk about the performances, plot and few more details from the series.

The web series stars Priyamani, Mrinal Dutt, and Satyadeep Mishra in main lead roles, the series also stars Rajeev Kumar, Charu Shankar, Nitin Bhatia, and Rheanne Tejani in other crucial roles, the web series is created by Ekta Kapoor, the series is of total 11 episodes and all episodes are approx 20-25 minutes long, the series is now available on Zee5 and Alt Balaji. The series is not family friendly, there are skin shows and strong languages, so don’t watch it with family.

Plot

The story of the series mainly revolves around the three people, Kunal, Sakshi, and Preet. Kunal and Sakshi and happily married for almost 20 years and they have a dream family, a house, children, and everything that a normal person dream of. Everything was going fine but one day Sakshi comes to know that Kunal is having an Affair with Preet and they are in a homosexual relationship. This brings the storm in the life of Sakshi, Her kids, Married life, and her personal life everything is on the verge of end. How would she manage all this? how her kids would react after knowing their father’s reality, to know this all, You have to watch the full 11 episodes series on Alt Balaji and Zee5.

Performances

The best thing about the series is the amazing star cast, the three main lead actors from the series were just amazing, Priyamani is mindblowing and she is killing it throughout the series, the way she shows her emotions, her dialogue delivery, everything was superb. The chemistry between Mrinal and Satydeep Mishra is superb and both look brilliant in their roles. Mrinal looks amazing and he holds his emotions so brilliantly.

I would like to mention the performance of Nitin Bhatia, he was a surprise package for me and he has done a great job in the role of the Elder son of Kunal and Sakshi. Rheanne Tejani was also good in her role, some other actors like Rajeev Kumar and Chaaru Shankar were decent with their performances. You may get angry by looking at Rajeev’s character but it was the demand of plot I think.

Analysis

Let’s talk about the good things first, the best thing about the series is, its the brilliant storyline and amazing performances, the story was already known but still, the series keeps you on your seats till the end and ends with some shocking surprise. The locations were amazing, the VFX was average, the production value was fair enough. One more plus point about the series is, Music, the music and the songs are just amazing and it touches your heart. The screenplay is good, the editing struggles in the beginning and slowly it gets good. There are no useless intimate scenes like the other ALTBalaji series.

Coming to the bad things, dialogues and the way children are shown in the series is absolutely pathetic, there are dialogues like ‘ Khade Ball Is Equal To Other Thing That is Khada Hua‘ There is one more ‘25-26 saal ki Umar me Sab tight rehta hai‘ i was like wt**f i am watching, there is another scene where a Father Arrange a girl (almost double of his age) for his son just to prove he is straight. I don’t know how writes these dialogues and how can Ekta Kapoor approves these. All thanks to some decent storyline and some amazing acting by the Priyamani, Mrinal, and Satydeep, and other actors that makes the series somewhat decent.

  1. Prayamani gave good dialogue delivery? Wow what a pathetic review writing! She is a national award winner for God’s sake. Bad points are bad dialogues? It Was a ladies night stand up comedy you stupid. Please stop writing reviews and do something else.

  2. This review as stupid as it can get. You should first go and research what actually goes around in this world. People can get to any extents just for their Pride and family honour, this is all part of Conversion Therapy. First, Go read about it!!! This series does a great job at opening up a dialogue for what has been a taboo so far in India.
The dialogues given to the younger actors actually makes sense, you should know this is how the teenagers talk these days. It’s a reality check for all of us.
You might flag this review and not post it but it needs to go out there, so that others also get educated and learn from this show.

Overall was it’s a good series. My concern here is if that preet didn’t wanted to be with kunal, why did he broke his family. He was so much in love with him and he left kunal alone. I have seen married woman, there also they both do not have a happy ending romil and jugal….these series also don’t have happy ending. I mean what they want to show that being in relationship with same gender doesn’t last forever? I am really unhappy with the ending part of His story. If he didn’t wanted to stay with him, he shouldn’t have entered his life..I mean 20 years of his family life.
